Nathan Lane

Nate Lane grew up amidst the red plains of Oklahoma and the Arkansas Ozarks. He acquired his Bachelor degrees from the University of Arkansas in Theatre and the University of Kansas in Film. He is an MFA Graduate of Boston University’s Creative Writing Program at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, and a recent MFA Graduate of the American Film Institute. During his time at AFI, Nate wrote two short films, three feature films, and this film—The Debt Collector. He is also the proud recipient of the Joseph Stefano Screenwriting Award, the Hewlett-Packard Scholarship, and the Bridges/Larson Grant.
